Merry Christmas and a reflection on 2009

I hope you’ve had a relaxing, happy Xmas. One of my treats at this time is to reflect back on the high points of the year. There seem to be few of us who naturally acknowledge ourselves for our growth and successes. So this is a good time to settle down with a mince pie and cup of tea – or something stronger – to reflect on your 2009.

When you’ve a quiet moment, acknowledge yourself for

  • the times you really have been up to something and your energy has been good
  • those times you’ve been At Your Best and you’ve felt great
  • the relationships you’ve built and the people you’ve got closer to
  • the engaging of others you’ve done to get up to something together
  • the moments you’ve sparked Robust Dialogue or made big requests and asked for what you wanted
  • the times you’ve reached out and supported others
  • the times you’ve been triggered but quickly got yourself back to being At Your Best,

and so on and so on.

Feel good about yourself and then start to think about what would make an even better 2010 for you. I’ll send you a prompt about next year next Monday.

Best Xmas wishes for now, Steve
