Blimey. The Amazing Olympics. Where do we start??

Posted on 6 August, 2012 by Steve Radcliffe in Uncategorized No Comments

A great day at the weightlifting.

My oh my. There is so much to say. What an amazing week of human endeavour and brilliance. So many people being ‘up to something’ and being guided by a Future they really really want; the constant reminder of the importance of having a Support Team and people committed to our success; the way people can lift others’ Spirit Energy; the power of Emotional Energy to connect people deeply to each other; and so on and on.
I know I’m not the only one loving these Games. David Cain wrote to The Guardian this weekend with a letter full of FED. He writes:

Personally, I am fast approaching 40 and as broke, unfit and unsure of my future as much of the rest of the country. But this past week I have cheered, cried and felt alive watching the Games. I have also felt inspired in the present to strive to do my best, to achieve, to think up impossible plans to somehow walk, cycle, to Rio for the next Olympics. In short to dream. And right there is the true legacy. Not in money, but in the blood, sweat, glory and most importantly, the dreams. Once started today, that will become a reality in the future.
David Cain

So enjoy flexing your ‘dreaming’ muscle this week. You may not want to ‘walk or cycle to Rio’ for the next Games but there definitely are things in the Future you’d really like if only you let yourself dream. What does it look like you winning your own Olympic Gold by being the person and leader you want to be? How glorious could that Future be?
